1. The Giant’s image and Lloyd’s measurements are drawn onto a huge block of polystyrene

2. The Giant’s shape is sculptured using knives, wire brushes and emery paper !

3. A fibre glass moulding is made from the polystyrene sculpture. Lights are fitted to the eyes and cable inserted to make the Giant’s mouth open and close.

4. Special stilts are made within the Giant’s legs, with additional support for stability

 

5. A special metallic foil is attached to moulding to give the Giant a ‘metal man’ effect.
